Marisha is a multi-disciplinary expert. She is a civil engineer with Masters in Environment Planning, PhD in Hydrogeology from IIT Delhi, PGC in Displacement and R&R and PGD in Analytical Chemistry. She has 21 years of experience in various sectors, predominantly mining, industries (steel, cement, thermal power, etc) and infrastructure covering various aspects such as detailed pre-project planning, environmental clearances, forest clearances, resettlement & rehabilitation, water availability studies, traffic impact assessment, post project environmental monitoring including sampling, analysis and reporting. She specialises in inter-disciplinary projects with multiple challenges including difficult on-site working conditions. She is also a visiting faculty at School of Planning and Architecture and periodically shares her practical expertise in various workshops. She is also proficient in implementation of various management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025. She is also spearheading the Scrabble Association of Delhi and with the support of various volunteers, conducts scrabble workshops and scrabble tournaments across Delhi-NCR as well as any other part of the country. She is also passionate about recycling/ upcycling and her workshops on recycling CDs are popular with youngsters.
