One of the best engineering brains in India, period! Himanshu is known to build organizations, platforms and systems that operate at scale. With some of the blue-chip brands under his belt, he is known for his action-oriented approach, vision, and ability to inspire engineering teams. Himanshu has over 24 yrs of experience in software product development and management. Currently, Himanshu is the Director of Engineering with Amazon leading various technology and products aspects of Amazon Music. Before Amazon, Himanshu was the CTO at Yatra.com, India's leading online travel portal. At Yatra, he was responsible for all aspects of technology & product and led a distributed team of over 350 engineers & data scientists. Before Yatra, Himanshu was the Engineering Director with Flipkart where he was responsible for building all aspects of Flipkart Supply Chain Platform. He also contributed to growing the technology team from ~100 people to over 1000 people over 3 years. Prior to that, he spent 6 years with Yahoo! in various technology leadership roles.Himanshu, an IIMB alum, loves to spend time with entrepreneurs and business leaders and helping them build an engineering culture and solve problems at scale.
