Founder of GreenJams, an award-winning cleantech startup removing 10% of global carbon dioxide emissions. We created Agrocrete®, a carbon-negative building material made from crop residues to abate the astronomical carbon footprint of buildings. We are also solving for the global menace of crop residue burning, which costs India almost 2 lakh crores in economic losses and about 1 million premature deaths due to the associated air pollution. I originally established GreenJams in 2017 with an extremely small goal of making hempcrete for India. As a product creator, I was wildly successful, making the world’s strongest hempcrete. But the vision was maximised, and today at GreenJams we are solving problems that span across buildings, agriculture, climate change, air pollution, farmer welfare and poverty. Over the last 3 years, we’ve grown from strength to strength, serving some of the largest names in the industry, including ITC Ltd. I'm a WEF-Uplink Top Innovator, INK Fellow 2018, Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia Listee, Meaningful Business 100 Listee and a PhD Scholar (Civil Engineering) at AcSIR at CSIR-Central Building Research Institute (CSIR-CBRI), Roorkee and RMIT University, Australia.
