Hi there, I'm a first-generation lawyer & ex-founder. Over a power packed 7 year career, I spent two years building Lemonade (funded and generating significant and steady scaling revenues). Prior to that, I dawned an entrepreneur’s hat, with five years of hands on experience building an AI based recruitech company that catered to the legal services sector. My experience cuts across operations, marketing, sales, business development, project/ product management, fund-raising and having complete ownership of the P&L. Fun fact: Raised venture capital for my business twice, first when I was only 25 years old. I've also experienced the bitter pitfalls of running a business and seen more than my fare share of difficulties and hardships. After many years of introspection, I can safely say that my fundamental skill and core strength is resilience. Guess what? I did all of the above with no formal business training or an MBA. Trial by error and hustling everyday helps me get closer to my goals. I'm also a huge advocate of sustainable and healthy living and believe that green practices and clean tech are the future.
